Data Governance Policy

Data Governance Policy Objectives

The purpose of the Data Governance Policies is to provide an overriding framework for managing organizational data.

This Policy is intended to define the necessary organizational structure, rules, and guidelines for supporting secure and productive use of organizational data, regardless of the form in which it exists, for operational and analytical needs of the University.

It is imperative that issues pertaining to data privacy and cybersecurity must be duly considered when managing data. The University’s Data Privacy Policy and Cybersecurity Policy are the foundational and practical references to address such issues, and should be considered integral parts of this Policy.
